Robbie Swain

Robbie is an experienced triathlete and rugby league coach and player. He specializes in “grunt” work and loves nothing more than pushing the boundaries of the body. He has completed 3 full Ironman’s and 5 half Ironman’s, all while captain-coaching rugby league and working full time as a carpenter which has given him an exceptional insight into training loads and what can be achieved even when most people think you are crazy. When training gets tough, he remembers the poem by Dylan Thomas, “Do not go gentle into that good night”. His favourite form of training is interval training over 200m.
